STORY BEHIND THIS PIECE
Crafted in Meghalaya, India.
The Meghalaya Edition brings to life the ancestral bamboo weaving of the Khasi tribe, shaped by generations of matrilineal artisans. Each bag is handwoven using split bamboo harvested from the state’s sacred groves, blending nature, utility, and slow luxury.
With its clean silhouette and bold geometry, the bag is crafted over 18 hours of manual weaving — every strand a tribute to forest knowledge and indigenous design.
Only 30 exist, each one a modern heirloom of Northeast India’s living heritage.
Price tags are never attached, perfect for gifting as well.

MATERIALS & CARE
Hand-split local bamboo, dried and softened using traditional Khasi techniques, then woven by hand without chemical treatment. Natural lacquer finish provides subtle sheen and protection.
